Infrastructure audit & hosting migration proposal
Read-only audit of a production AWS + Postgres environment. Delivered executive summary, cost models, and a decision framework across Supabase, B2, and in-place remediation.

- proposal
A small but production-critical business asked for an independent read on their AWS infrastructure, their hosting strategy, and whether to migrate off their current stack. I delivered an executive summary, a read-only infrastructure inventory, and a decision framework comparing Supabase, B2, and staying put — with cost models for each.
What I delivered
- Read-only infrastructure audit (AWS accounts, PostgreSQL topology, backup posture)
- Executive summary suitable for a non-technical owner
- Supabase vs. in-place remediation decision framework with total-cost-of-ownership models over a 3-year horizon
- Recommendation memo with phased migration path
Why it mattered
Infrastructure decisions under cost pressure are usually made from fear, and the cheapest decision for this year often costs the most over five. The value of an outside audit is giving the decision-maker a set of numbers they can stand behind — and a timeline where the cheapest-right-now option doesn’t quietly compound into a rewrite.
